Schedule a Teams meeting through your Outlook Calendar

Make sure you’ve installed the Teams application first.

Open your Outlook application and go to the Calendar.

You should see a button at the top for “New Teams Meeting”

 

 

Add a meeting title, attendees, date and time of the meeting

 

 

 

You can change meeting options from this screen as well

 

Press Send.

The meeting will show up on your Outlook calendar and Teams Calendar as well as the attendees calendars. If you go to your calendar, you can open the meeting and get a direct link to it as well as see the meeting ID and passcode.

 

 

When it’s time for the meeting, you can start it by opening Teams and going to the Teams calendar and select “Join” on the meeting date/time. Or you can open the Outlook calendar appointment and select “Join Teams Meeting” at the top of the page
