Check your sound output on the computer

Press the windows - CTL and V keys  for sound output

Select digital output for your room.

Alternately

Click the Sound icon in the lower right of your task bar. 

Select the output option in the far right of the volume bar

Ensure that  your sound output is set to your room TV
