Accessing via the Client

Some databases do not preform as well on the web. So there is often a need to install the Filemaker Client. If you do not have the client it can be found inside of the Self-Service App. Self-Service is located inside your Applications Folder on your Mac. Once you get it installed and opened up, choose File>Open Remote

Connect to the remote host filemaker.sjsd.k12.mo.us 

Click Save. 

You will be asked to log into the database server. Using the same credentials you log into your computer with. Then as you will see the list of available databases, double click on the one you wish to work with and log in using your database password. You should receive what this is from the database manager.
